Understanding the Readings With a Blood Pressure Chart

One vital step towards leading a healthy lifestyle is that you should able to check your blood pressure regularly. Of course that means that you also have to learn even just the basic understanding about those numbers because you never know that you are already in a high rate and that would put you in risk of having heart disease. Yes, this news might be new to you but you can really have high blood pressure without experiencing those symptoms the rest of the population does. So for you to be fairly safe and know if you’re within the normal limit, you will need to keep track with the blood changes through the help of blood pressure chart.

Blood circulation’s pressure decreases as the blood will move within the arterioles, veins and capillaries. It is because it takes blood away from the heart as anatomy explains. It is a notion in blood pressure chart that it comes always in two numbers. When there is heartbeat that is called systolic pressure and diastolic pressure when it’s in relaxation state.

The importance of pressure chart is that it helps the person by learning the details about his or her blood pressure readings. That allows then to show those necessary details if the blood is in normal range, highly dangerous or vulnerable. Such chart usually show four readings starting from normal up to stage-2 of high blood pressure.

In fact, it would be advantageous if you can see some charts that shows both hypotension readings and for hypertension too. One example of that would be the following:

First, let us base that from a Systolic reading of below 120mm Hg and a Diastolic reading of below 80mm Hg. That blood pressure is normal so the thing that you must do is maintaining the healthy lifestyle you are already leading.

There is pre-hypertension when the systolic reading is between 140-159mm Hg and diastolic reading will be in between 90-99. You are suppose then to add some exercise in your routine and then take less salt specifically with the foods that you eat. It would be better if you avoid drinking heavily and stop smoking too.

If it will be more than 160mm Hg for systolic and 100mm Hg more for the diastolic reading, then the category will fall for stage 2 hypertension. It would be better that you should ask for a doctor’s advice for the proper medication. You should take good care of your choice of activities and then regular diet. One thing too, you remain being stress free. Although at some point really, this numbers matters in minimum, average to maximum millimeters of mercury because there are obviously different ages taking the health test.

It is not surprising of course those healthcare professionals opted for manual sphygmomanometer and stethoscope when they measure. Typically, they take reading in the upper part of the elbow. Checking it at the same time using blood pressure chart too is advisable to be performed each day so you can have the accurate results. If you have normal blood pressure, you reduce the risk of complications.
